BANANA CINNAMON BREAD


INGREDIENTS

  • Flour - 2 cups
  • Baking Powder - 1 tsp
  • Baking Soda - 1/4 tsp
  • Butter - 1/2 cup
  • Eggs - 2 
  • Sugar - 3/4 cup
  • Ground Cinnamon - 1 tsp
  • Ripe Bananas - 3
PROCEDURE

  • Preheat oven to 180C and Line the bottom of 9 inch loaf pan with a piece of parchment paper.
  • Sieve flour, baking powder, baking soda and ground cinnamon into a bowl and keep aside.
  • In a bowl mash bananas with the help of fork, then add eggs, melted butter and sugar and just mix with spatula to combine them properly.
  • Now lightly fold dry ingredients into wet ingredients until just combined, do not over mix the batter otherwise your banana bread will be tough in texture.
  • Batter will be chunky and thick. Pour the batter into loaf pan and bake for 55 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the centre comes out clean.
