BANANA CINNAMON BREAD
- Flour - 2 cups
- Baking Powder - 1 tsp
- Baking Soda - 1/4 tsp
- Butter - 1/2 cup
- Eggs - 2
- Sugar - 3/4 cup
- Ground Cinnamon - 1 tsp
- Ripe Bananas - 3
PROCEDURE
- Preheat oven to 180C and Line the bottom of 9 inch loaf pan with a piece of parchment paper.
- Sieve flour, baking powder, baking soda and ground cinnamon into a bowl and keep aside.
- In a bowl mash bananas with the help of fork, then add eggs, melted butter and sugar and just mix with spatula to combine them properly.
- Now lightly fold dry ingredients into wet ingredients until just combined, do not over mix the batter otherwise your banana bread will be tough in texture.
- Batter will be chunky and thick. Pour the batter into loaf pan and bake for 55 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the centre comes out clean.
